About Me
A brief introduction to who I am and what I do
I'm a Senior React Native Engineer and Team Lead with 6.5+ years building mobile products for fintech, e-commerce, and on-demand businesses — the kind of apps where a crash or a slow checkout costs real money. I own architecture end-to-end: native module integration, payment gateways, maps, real-time tracking, and the CI/CD pipeline that ships it all. As Team Lead at Code Brew Labs, I've led a 13-engineer team, run code reviews, and mentored developers from onboarding to independent ownership.
My core stack is React Native and React.js, but I don't stay in my lane when a client needs something else — I picked up Flutter mid-career to lead the Alfardan Exchange remittance SDK, using Claude Code to close the gap fast. I've delivered projects onsite in the UAE and Oman, working directly with client stakeholders rather than through a layer of account managers, so I'm used to owning requirements and outcomes, not just tickets. Outside the day job, I've co-founded two live products — an AI shopping assistant and a developer tools marketplace — and contribute to open-source React Native tooling.

Code Brew Labs
- •Lead a 13-engineer React Native team across architecture decisions, code reviews, and sprint delivery for Code Brew Labs' multi-vertical super-app (Royo 2.0), spanning e-commerce, taxi, food delivery, and on-demand modules
- •Migrated RedTag's e-commerce app from separate native iOS/Android codebases to a single React Native codebase, now serving 4.5M+ users across the GCC at a 99.99% crash-free rate — owned architecture decisions and delivered the release onsite in the UAE
- •Integrated Google Analytics, MoEngage, and AppsFlyer into RedTag for marketing's user-journey tracking, and built push and in-app notification systems
- •Designed and shipped a Flutter-based Remittance SDK for Alfardan Exchange (UAE) using Flutter Plugin/Module architecture, built entirely with Claude Code despite zero prior production Flutter experience
- •Directed real-time driver tracking, maps, and taxi-booking features for Royo 2.0's ride-hailing module, shipped alongside food delivery, grocery, and rental verticals on a shared codebase
- •Cut release friction by integrating CodePush into CI/CD and automating Android APK generation and S3 distribution with a Node.js script
- •Own technical client communication for UAE/GCC accounts — translating stakeholder requirements directly into architecture and sprint plans

A cross-platform remittance SDK built for Alfardan Exchange (UAE), enabling partner applications to integrate remittance services including beneficiary management, transfer flows, and transaction tracking. Built entirely using Claude Code, despite having no prior Flutter experience as a React Native developer.
